Stop IRS Phone Calls

If you are receiving aggressive and harassing IRS phone calls, we can stop the phone calls immediately.  Once the IRS is notified that a taxpayer is represented, IRS employees are prohibited from contacting the taxpayer directly.  All IRS communications must be through the taxpayer's representative.

The IRS is the largest collection agency in the world. When he tax becomes delinquent, the taxpayer's account is often directed into an automated collection system. Part of the collection process is to telephone the taxpayer to request payment. The IRS is limited in what it can say to third parties about your tax situation.  However it can call your employer, your neighbors, your customers and anyone else whom the IRS believes may have information that will lead to the collection of the back taxes.

The IRS may call you within certain guidelines, similar to those imposed on commercial collection agencies.  However, by law the IRS must stop telephoning you when you have obtained representation.
